Sunday Social

Thanks for hosting, Neely!

1. What is something you’ve always wanted to do but are afraid of?
Mm… this is actually a really tough question. Risk- and adventure-wise, I think there is almost nothing I wouldn’t try at least once. Emotional risks, however, are a whole different story. I’m really bad at telling people exactly how I feel—so, I guess that’s it. Telling people how it is is the answer to this question.

2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
In a perfect world, I would be either traveling or settled in an amazing California city with a job that I adore and having outdoor adventures on the reg. A few romantic flings under my belt—maybe one of my first serious relationships in the horizon. Definitely with some cats and dogs.

3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2013?
Having had a great study abroad experience (fingers crossed!), a few foreign flings maybe ;) and having planned out the next month of travel/an additional 4 months of what I’m going to be doing once I get back to real life.

4. What are your hopes for your blog?
That I will eventually be brave enough to share it with people I know in real life (outside of my family members). That people read it and have a good laugh. To have made awesome blogger friends :)

5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?
Not at all. So far, I’ve been unable to see myself settling anywhere as of yet. California is the narrowest I’ve ever gotten. But then I get into a debate with myself over California vs. Europe.

6. What is your morning routine?
Open my eyes for the first time.
(Optional: watch an episode of current show)
Roll/Stretch out of bed.
Bathroom to brush teeth.
Out the door for morning run.
Wake up fully with some breakfast and coffee!

Anyways, I’ll be going on a family camping trip today! No worries, I’ve scheduled a few posts here and there. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to comment and reply on your posts/comments, but I promise to once I get back! I’m excited and a little hesitant to go on the trip. Concentrated family times have never gone too well for long.

Hope you all are having a great Sunday!

Side note: My brother told me today that one of his friends talks more about me than he does (on the subject of how often we bring up siblings in conversation). He said that his friend used to talk about how jacked I was. Now, all he does is comment on where I go to school.

That’s sad, people. So, so sad.

Which is why I’m starting Operation: Jacked! Is this the 5th time I mentioned this or what? Upcoming: daily running memos and a homemade juice cleanse! To be seen in the new Health tab up top. Or maybe it’s been there forever and I just used it to trick first-time readers into believing I’m healthy. You’ll never know.

I can see why you are looking forward to studying abroad, it is something I always wanted to do! I also have never shared my blog with people I know in real life…weird, huh?

Haha for some reason, sharing it with people you know in real life just makes it extremely personal!
