Holiday Wish List 2014

I’m usually not a very materialistic person and would much prefer to receive gifts in the form of tickets and funding any day. So, in addition to a list of material goods, I’ve also included non-materialistic gifts that may or may not need to be fulfilled by a higher power.

Non-materialistic Gifts (possibly unfulfillable)

1. A trip
2. A job
3. Better health (and shoulders)
4. A love of running
5. A sense of direction in my life

Yeesh, that got too real. Let’s move onto the good stuff, shall we?

Materialistic Gifts

Other than tickets and funding, though, here are a few things that I’ve been lusting over recently and wouldn’t at all mind getting this year (hint hint, mom). Some I’m a bit more lusty over than others; for example, the lens and headphones (which just broke after making it all over the world with me) would be at the top of my list. And the backrest… because there are no chairs at all in my sparse room.

1. Audio-Technica M50 Headphones
2. Canon EF-S 18-135mm
3. Bedrest pillow
4. World map watch
5. Travel pillow
6. Passion Planner
7. Portable charger
8. Tripod
9. Chuck Taylors, white

What are some things that you’ve been drooling over this year?

I’m all good for gifts this year, I bought myself some Dr. Martens that I’ve been wanting ages and ages, so I’m all material-ed out.

Haha I’ve been wanting Dr. Martens for a good while!! But out of everything on the list, it’s still not top priority yet.

Boots! I love La Canadienne boots but they’re too pricey for my budget right now. And I always get distracted by pretty dresses :)

MMPH! Boots! And shoes in general are something that I constantly DON’T need… but always want. If everything went my impulsive way, I’d have 1 outfits to pair with 20 shoes… :p

I’m with you on #s 1-3 on the non-materialistic list! Though if I have to choose something materialistic, that passion planner looks amazing! Might just help me accomplish some needed direction. ;)

Right?? Hahaha… and I know! Someone on Twitter posted the link to that kickstarter and I thought the planner sounded amazing! Although weekly pages are on their site for free downloads as of now ;)

YES. On all the camera equipment I am dying for it. What DSLR and lens do you currently have?

Hahaha! I have an EOS Rebel T3i with the kit lens (which I’m trying desperately to replace) and the wide-angle EFS 10-22mm lens! I see your photos have recently been BOMB… have you started using a DSLR??

Love the non-materialistic list and canon lens for travel photography! I’ve had bad shoulders ever since getting a desk job– once I started getting migraines from it, I went to an acupuncturist and tried myofascial release massage. Haven’t had any problems since!

I’ve also tried an acupuncturist but it didn’t work!! I later ended up getting an MRI and will hopefully start PT soon…
